Patient FAQ
Common questions about who sees your reflections, missing days, deletion, and getting started.
Updated June 15, 2026
The questions people ask most before they start, with plain answers.
Who sees what I write?
Only the clinician your clinic assigned you to. Nyra is not a public app and there is no social feed. Your reflections go to one chart, in one clinic.
What if I miss a day?
Nothing happens. There is no streak to lose and no late penalty. The pattern your clinician reads is robust to skipped days; that is the design.
Can I delete what I have written?
Yes. You can delete a single reflection or remove your account entirely. When you delete, it leaves both your view and the clinician's.
Is this a diagnosis?
No. Nyra is decision support for your clinician. It never gives you a diagnosis, never recommends medication, and is not an emergency service. 988 (call or text) and 911 are always one tap away.
How do I start?
Your clinician sends you a one-time invite code. That is the only way in; there is no public signup. Ask your clinician if Nyra is right for you.
Where is my data stored?
On the infrastructure your clinic agreed to. Each clinic chooses its hosting region during onboarding; you can ask your clinic which region holds your record.
What if my clinician leaves the clinic?
Your reflections stay with the clinic, not the individual clinician. If you transfer to a new provider inside the same clinic, your record follows. If you leave the clinic, you can export everything as JSON and bring it with you.
Can my family or partner see my reflections?
No. There is no shared view, no family dashboard, no caregiver portal. Reflections are between you and your clinician.
What devices does this work on?
iOS, Android, and any modern web browser. Same account, same record, everywhere you sign in.
